La Nouba (1998)
The show name La Nouba originates from the French phrase "faire la nouba", which means to party, to live it up. This creation is an unforgettable journey through our universe- at once threatening and exhilarating, frightening and familiar. La Nouba is the story of all stories, the site of all mysteries, where dreams and nightmares sleep side by side. La Nouba is memory, individual and universal. It beckons to us, challenges us to uncover passions we though we'd lost long ago. Here, anything is possible.
La Nouba features two groups of characters. Throughout the show, the magic and fantasy of the colour fur Cirque (circus people) clash with the monochromatic world of the Urbain's (urbanites).
From this encounter is born fear and ecstasy. From this encounter is born La Nouba.

Gemini

(Latin:"Twins") in astronomy, the constellation lying between Cancer and Taurus; in astronomy, the third sign of the zodiac, governing approximately the period May 21- June 21. It is represented by a set of twins. The twins are most often identified as the mythological Castor and Pollux (Dioscuri), but have also been equated with other famous pairs such as Romulus and Remus.
Gemini is symbolized by the Twins. They're flexible, flirty and inventive. Intelligent to the extreme, your idea of a good time is a lively conversation-- or better yet, a friendly debate. Thanks to the Twins' influence, you sometimes feel split in two directions and don't know what to do!
